Ashish Chanchlani just dropped the trailer for his much-awaited original web series Ekaaki, and fans are already buzzing with excitement. Blending spooks, humor, and classic Chanchlani chaos, this horror-comedy marks his ambitious debut as director, writer, and producer — talk about multitasking in style.
The trailer teases a story centered around seven friends on a weekend getaway to a remote village in Maharashtra. What begins as harmless banter and vacation vibes soon descends into a night of terror, as a sinister force emerges to feast on the unsuspecting group. The tagline says it best: “7 friends… one weekend… and something that doesn’t want them to leave.” Equal parts witty and thrilling, Ekaaki promises jump scares with a punchline.
In true homegrown style, Chanchlani’s trusted crew joins the ride — Akash Dodeja, Harsh Rane, Rohit Sadhwani, Siddhant Sarfare, Grishim Nawani, and Shashank Shekhar co-star alongside him.
