Reality show contestant and actress Sabby Suri has shared her thoughts on the recent controversy surrounding Kushal Tandon's comments about Zaid Darbar and Gauahar Khan. After her eviction from Prime Video's high-stakes reality show Alliance, Sabby opened up about the incident and shared why she believes certain personal matters should not be brought into the spotlight, especially on a platform watched by millions.
During a conversation after her exit, Sabby was asked about Kushal Tandon's statements that sparked discussions involving Gauahar Khan and Zaid Darbar. Having experienced the reality show environment herself and later watching events from outside, Sabby shared her perspective on the controversy and emphasized the importance of respecting someone's past. "Yes, I feel that things belonging to the past should be left in the past. Especially when it involves a woman's past, I don't think one should bring it up—and certainly not in front of her husband," Sabby said.
Talking about Zaid Darbar's reaction during the situation, Sabby praised his maturity and how he handled the matter while being part of the reality show environment. She explained that despite the possibility of emotions being tested inside the game, Zaid maintained his composure. "I think Zaid handled the situation very maturely. I’m not sure how he might have responded otherwise, but he treated the game like a game show. Perhaps there was an attempt to trigger a reaction, but he still handled it with great maturity," she added.
Sabby further stated that some topics should not become part of public discussions, especially when they involve personal histories. She believes that reality shows may create intense situations, but there should still be a sense of sensitivity when discussing someone's life outside the game. "However, I believe some things simply shouldn't be said; the past is the past, and she is a woman who has moved on. It’s a very old matter. I don't think there is any point in discussing such things on a reality show where the whole world is watching," Sabby said.
Sabby Suri's comments come after her own memorable journey on Alliance, where she gained attention for her emotional strength, relationships with fellow contestants, and the support she received from Kushal Tandon during her time on the show. Her exit sparked conversations among viewers who followed her journey closely.
An actress and model primarily associated with Punjabi entertainment, Sabby Suri gained wider recognition through her participation in Amazon Prime Video's reality series Alliance (2026), hosted by Kunal Kemmu. Known for her calm approach and strong opinions, Sabby continues to remain in the spotlight as discussions around the show's dramatic moments continue.
