Singer, actor, producer, music director, writer and entrepreneur Mika Singh has added another special milestone to his long journey in Bollywood. The multifaceted artist has graced the cover of Society Achievers, and during the unveiling of the cover in Mumbai, he opened up about what the moment means to him and why it feels particularly special after growing up seeing iconic magazines such as Stardust and Society.
Talking about the cover, Mika said, “I feel so blessed and deeply grateful—especially to Ashok-bhai for thinking so highly of me. As I mentioned, I’ve been looking at magazines like Stardust and Society since childhood; I never imagined I’d get such a wonderful opportunity to have my photo on the front cover. So, I feel truly blessed. Once again, thank you to Society and to Ashok-ji for his kind thoughts. And if you watch the full interview, I’m sure you’ll love it.”
Interestingly, Mika revealed that he had no idea he was actually going to feature on the cover. “I didn't actually know I was going to be on the cover; I just thought it was a standard interview. I gave it my best shot, of course, but it feels amazing to see my photo on the front cover now. In fact, there are some great pictures inside as well, and the interview itself is excellent. Once again, I feel so blessed. Thank you, Society; thank you, Ashok-bhai; and thank you to everyone,” he added.
The singer was also asked if there was a particular chapter from his life that he wanted to see highlighted in the magazine. Mika explained that the interview had already captured the different sides of his personality and journey. “I think this interview turned out really well; everything I wanted to share—showing both my inner and outer self—is captured in this magazine. I’m sure you’ll really enjoy reading and seeing it,” he said.
With his career spanning singing, acting, music direction, production and writing, Mika Singh has built a multifaceted identity in the Hindi entertainment industry. The Society Achievers cover therefore becomes another moment for the singer to reflect on a journey that has taken him from being a young admirer of Bollywood magazines to becoming the face of one himself.
The conversation also touched upon Ganpati celebrations, with Mika revealing that he hosted Ganpati at home for two days this year. Speaking about the festival, he said, “It’s going wonderfully. I hosted Ganpati for two days, and as I’ve mentioned before, Punjab is both my birthplace and my karmabhoomi (the land where I work and build my career). Mumbai is our karmabhumi (land of work). So, Ganpati Bappa Morya!”
For Mika, the cover launch was therefore more than just another media appearance. It was a nostalgic full-circle moment for an artist who grew up looking at the very magazines that he now finds himself featured on, while also celebrating his personal journey, professional achievements and connection with Mumbai during the festive season.
