Actress Neha Sharma shines a light on the indispensable role of writers—the true creative architects behind every captivating story. With heartfelt conviction, Sharma voices a sentiment often overlooked: the paramount importance of giving writers their due credit in the realm of entertainment.
During her recent media interaction, Neha shared her views, the foundation of any show or film rests squarely on the shoulders of its writers and its unfortunate that they are not given enough credit. She said, “It is such a bad thing honestly, I feel like that a show or a film, the maximum credit should go the writers because they are one who creates it, they are one who makes it what it is, and then we bring in the cast, crew, technicians, to take it to another level, but at the core, writing is the most important thing, I think it is important that we should know who has written a particular show or film, and give them their due credit.“
For Sharma, it is not just a matter of principle but also one of practicality, without the imaginative vision and meticulous craftsmanship of writers, the cinematic landscape would be devoid of the rich tapestry of stories that captivate and inspire.
Neha Sharma will soon be seen in Illegal Season 3, which is helmed by Sahir Raza, backed by Juggernaut Production. The series also stars Piyush Mishra, Akshay Oberoi, Satyadeep Mishra, Zayn Marie Khan, Asheema Vardaan, Anshuman Malhotra, Ira Dubey, Achint Kaur, Kriti Vij and more.
Suddeep Nigam has written the screenplay and dialogues for the series, which starts streaming from 29th May 2024.
