Apple TV drops the trailer for their new WondLa animated series, an adaptation of a bestselling trilogy of books originally titled "The Search for WondLa".
Eva is a typical teen: curious, enthusiastic, and spirited. However, she's being raised alone by a robot caretaker, Muthr, in a state-of-the-art underground bunker. An attack on her sanctuary forces her onto the surface, and it's not what she expected.
The planet is now inhabited by aliens, covered with otherworldly fauna, and there are no other humans to be found. Otto, a lovable giant water-bear with whom Eva shares telepathic powers, Rovender, a cantankerous alien with a troubled past, and Muthr join Eva as she embarks on a quest to find humans and learn her true destiny.
The series feature voices of Jeanine Mason, Teri Hatcher, Brad Garrett, Gary Anthony Williams, Alan Tudyk, D.C. Douglas, Chiké Okonkwo.
WondLa is a series showrun by Bobs Gannaway, written by Mario Carvalhal, Bobs Gannaway, Bob Snow, Christian Magalhaes, Grace Davis, Adam Galen. The series start streaming from June 28th, 2024.
