What happens when chaos, corpses, and confusion collide—and no one says a thing? Welcome to Ufff Yeh Siyapaa, a daring, wordless black comedy that’s turning heads for all the right (and ridiculous) reasons. Releasing in theatres on 5th September 2025, this uniquely silent storm stars Sohum Shah, Nushrratt Bharuccha, Nora Fatehi, Omkar Kapoor, and Sharib Hashmi, and is backed by Luv Films with A.R. Rahman delivering the soundtrack of the unspoken.
At the heart of the madness is Kesari Lal Singh (Sohum Shah), a painfully ordinary man whose life spins out of control after a series of increasingly bizarre misunderstandings. His wife Pushpa (Nushrratt Bharuccha) walks out, believing he’s been flirting with their sultry neighbor Kamini (Nora Fatehi). Spoiler alert: he hasn’t. But the situation snowballs when a wrongly delivered drug parcel and not one, but two dead bodies land in his home—turning a domestic dispute into a full-blown crime thriller.
And just when things couldn’t get worse, in walks Inspector Hasmukh (Omkar Kapoor)—a cop with his own shady secrets, who might just be more trouble than the criminals themselves. Add to this the perfect comic timing of Sharib Hashmi, and you've got a house full of secrets, suspects, and sheer siyapaa—minus a single syllable of dialogue.
Helmed by G. Ashok, the film is a bold narrative experiment in an industry that thrives on punchlines and monologues. In Ufff Yeh Siyapaa, body language, facial expressions, and a hauntingly hilarious score by A.R. Rahman do all the talking. Think Mr. Bean meets Delhi Belly, but with a darker twist and far more duct tape.
With its genre-bending tone, star-studded cast, and inventive storytelling, Ufff Yeh Siyapaa is set to be one of 2025’s most unconventional—and unforgettable—cinematic experiences. One thing’s for sure: silence has never been this loud.
