Shilpa Shetty Kundra brought her trademark festive energy to Mumbai's Ganpati Visarjan as she bid an emotional goodbye to Bappa alongside her family. The actress, who has made bringing Lord Ganesha home an annual tradition, celebrated the immersion of her eco-friendly Ganpati idol with music, dancing and plenty of festive cheer.

Shilpa was joined by her husband Raj Kundra, son Viaan, and other family members during the Visarjan procession. Rather than keeping the farewell ceremony low-key, the actress embraced the infectious atmosphere around her, dancing enthusiastically as traditional Nashik dhol beats filled the air. Her energetic moves quickly became one of the highlights of the celebration.

And Shilpa didn't stop at dancing. At one point during the procession, the actress picked up a dhol herself and played it with impressive enthusiasm. Her comfortable handling of the traditional instrument added another fun layer to the festivities, with the actress appearing completely in her element amid the music, crowds and celebrations surrounding Ganpati Visarjan.

The actress also made sure her family was part of the celebration. Raj Kundra and Viaan joined Shilpa during the immersion rituals, with the family seen enjoying the procession together. For Shilpa, Ganpati celebrations have long been a deeply cherished tradition, and she typically welcomes Bappa into her home for dedh din, or one and a half days, before carrying out the Visarjan.

Adding to the festive atmosphere was Shilpa's traditional Maharashtrian look. The actress opted for an elegant ethnic ensemble that perfectly matched the occasion and the colourful spirit of Mumbai's Ganesh Utsav. Her traditional appearance, combined with the dhol beats and dancing, made her Visarjan celebrations feel every bit as vibrant as the festival itself.

The actress also shared some playful moments with the paparazzi and media professionals who had gathered to cover the celebrations. Rather than simply posing for the cameras, Shilpa joined them in the festive mood, dancing and interacting with the photographers. Her easygoing interaction turned the media gathering into another part of the celebration.

Beyond the dancing and glamour, Shilpa has consistently highlighted the importance of celebrating Ganesh Chaturthi in an environmentally conscious way. Her decision to bring home an eco-friendly Ganesha idol reflects her long-standing commitment to sustainability during the festival. Eco-friendly idols, particularly those made from materials such as natural clay, are encouraged as a way of reducing the environmental impact associated with idol immersion.

The farewell therefore had all the elements that have become synonymous with Shilpa's Ganpati celebrations — family, devotion, music, traditional Maharashtrian culture and plenty of infectious energy. From dancing with her loved ones to picking up the dhol and joining the media in the festivities, Shilpa ensured that Bappa's farewell was anything but ordinary.

As the Visarjan procession came to an end, Shilpa's celebration once again showed why her Ganpati moments attract so much attention every year. With an eco-friendly idol, a traditional celebration and enough dancing to keep the dhol players company, the actress sent off Bappa on a joyful and spirited note.
