Nawazuddin Siddiqui, known for his varied performances, has voiced a profound appreciation for the often-unsung heroes behind the screen—the screenplay writers.
Recognizing their pivotal role, Siddiqui emphasizes that the screenplay serves as the blueprint that dictates the entire look and feel of a film, influencing every aspect of its creation. He said, “Behind the screen, writers play a pivotal role, an important role, writing a screenplay is a big deal, I think we should study the screenplay a bit more, the entire look of the film and how it will be made, it totally depends on the screenplay.”
Amidst his admiration for the craft, Siddiqui cites esteemed writers like Bhavesh and Anurag Kashyap as personal favorites, acknowledging their significant contributions to cinema. He said, “I have plenty of favorite writers, such as Bhavesh, Anurag Kashyap, and more, there are plenty of good writers in our country”.
On the work front, Nawazuddin Siddiqui will soon be seen in ZEE5’s Rautu Ka Raaz, a cop drama with a comic and mystery twist, slated to premiere on 28th June.
