If you thought Rajinikanth fans celebrate their favourite superstar only on his birthday, think again! Raghava Lawrence is planning to turn the countdown to Thalaivar's 76th birthday into a full month of celebrations. The actor and choreographer took to social media with an emotional announcement, declaring that the festivities will begin on November 12 and continue until December 12. And honestly, when it comes to celebrating Rajinikanth, one day simply doesn't seem enough!
Sharing the big news, Lawrence wrote, “One month Thalaivar birthday celebrations from November 12 - December 12. One month. One celebration. One Thalaivar! As a lifelong Thalaivar fan, I couldn’t be prouder or happier to witness him deliver an industry hit at the age of 75! I wish to celebrate his 76th birthday and this legendary success together on December 12th, with a month-long celebration from November 12th to December 12th. My wish is to invite Thalaivar himself and celebrate this special occasion in front of him. But knowing his humble and simple nature, I understand that he isn’t someone who seeks grand celebrations for himself. That’s exactly why we, his fans, are celebrating him in our own way out of immense love and respect for the legendary, one and only Superstar!”
“I want to make it clear that this initiative comes purely from my love for Thalaivar, whom I have admired since childhood. He gave me life and everything I’m today in this industry is because of him. There will never be another star like Thalaivar. His legacy is one of a kind. His journey and birthday needs to be celebrated in the best way possible. This is our way of celebrating the man who has given generations of fans a lifetime of memories and happiness.. As Today is Thursday, Guru day, I wanted to share with you all that I’ll soon announce how we’re going to make this celebration special. This year is going to be truly memorable for all Thalaivar fans. One month. One celebration. One Thalaivar! #guruveSaranam”
Now that's what we call a birthday countdown with superstar energy! Lawrence's announcement is especially touching because he isn't just organising a celebration for a cinema icon; he is expressing gratitude towards the person who inspired his own journey. He openly credits Rajinikanth for giving him the motivation and inspiration to build his career in the entertainment industry. For a lifelong fan, watching his idol deliver an industry hit at 75 is clearly a moment of immense pride.
The plan to celebrate for an entire month makes things even more exciting. While Rajinikanth himself may prefer to keep things simple, his fans certainly have no shortage of enthusiasm. Lawrence has also hinted that more details about the special activities will be announced soon, so Thalaivar fans have plenty to look forward to. His post featured a peaceful picture of Rajinikanth in traditional white attire, with sacred ash on his forehead, adding a beautiful devotional touch to the announcement.
December 12 is already a date that carries enormous excitement for Rajinikanth admirers, but this year the celebrations will begin much earlier. From November 12 onwards, fans will get an entire month to express their love for the superstar and celebrate his incredible contribution to cinema. And with Raghava Lawrence leading the initiative, the countdown promises to be full of emotion, excitement and plenty of Thalaivar magic. One thing is certain: when fans say there is only one Thalaivar, they mean every word!
