Sushmita’s love letter to Renee wasn’t just a birthday post — it was a reflection of a journey that began when she adopted Renee at the age of 24, a bold and beautiful decision that made her one of India’s most inspiring single mothers.

Renee, who has grown under the compassionate wings of Sushmita, is now carving a path of her own in the entertainment world. From acting in the critically appreciated short film Suttabaazi (2020) to making her theatre debut in Hidden Agendas, and recently working as an Assistant Director Intern on the film Bad Newz, Renee is steadily building her creative portfolio.
She has also explored behind-the-scenes roles as a Casting Director Intern with The Handprint Studio and continues to pursue her passion for music as an aspiring singer.
