Liam Neeson returns as Mike McCann, the no-nonsense ice road trucker we first met braving cracked lakes and deadly storms. Now, he’s headed to Mt. Everest to scatter his late brother’s ashes. But what begins as a spiritual journey takes a violent turn when McCann and his mountain guide, played by international star Fan Bingbing, find themselves ambushed by mercenaries. Stranded on a narrow mountain path with a bus full of terrified tourists and a vulnerable Nepalese village below, McCann must channel all his grit, gear, and gravelly-voiced wisdom to save lives against impossible odds.
Written and directed once again by Jonathan Hensleigh, the sequel promises to up the stakes both emotionally and physically.
