Shahid Kapoor and Vishal Bhardwaj are back — and this time, it's more intense, more mysterious, and definitely “madly different.” The powerhouse actor-director duo has officially wrapped their fourth project together, a yet-untitled film that already has fans buzzing with excitement.
On August 31, Shahid Kapoor took to Instagram to share a striking black-and-white behind-the-scenes photo with director Vishal Bhardwaj, marking the completion of their shoot. Alongside the image, Shahid penned a heartfelt and intriguing note that teases just how special this film is to him.

While Shahid smartly stopped short of revealing the new character’s name, the cryptic caption instantly lit up the internet. The actor's past performances under Bhardwaj’s direction — the gritty twin roles in Kaminey (2009) and the hauntingly brilliant Haider (2014) — remain among his most celebrated. Now, with a fourth film in the bag, anticipation for the official title and trailer is sky-high.
The film boasts a powerhouse lineup that includes Triptii Dimri, Nana Patekar, Farida Jalal, Avinash Tiwary, and Disha Patani — who, Shahid reveals, features in two high-energy songs with him.
He also teased fans about a "secret co-star", one of his favourites, whose identity remains under wraps. With such a diverse and seasoned cast, the film promises to deliver not just action and drama, but deep, layered performances across the board.
Known for blending storytelling with strong musical elements, Vishal Bhardwaj is expected to bring his signature sound to this project as well.This marks Shahid and Vishal’s fourth collaboration, following Kaminey (2009), Haider (2014), Rangoon (2017).
