Speaking about what she is currently working on, Daisy said, “Yes, I am. I’m working on a movie called DGP Kashmir, which is about to go on the floors. It has already been announced.” She revealed that the entire film is set in Kashmir and that heavy rains have caused a delay of around 20 days. However, according to Daisy, the shoot is expected to resume soon.
The actress also gave an encouraging update about the progress of the project. “I think about 40% to 60% of the filming is already done. My portion is still pending,” Daisy said. While the exact completion percentage remains an estimate, her update indicates that the film has already made considerable progress and that her own schedule is among the portions yet to be filmed.
When asked whether DGP Kashmir could arrive in theatres this year, Daisy remained cautious but optimistic. “I don't know; that depends. But I think about 40% to 60% of the filming is already done. My portion is still pending. So, I think it will be released this year,” she explained. The actress added that if the film does not make it this year, the makers could potentially target a significant national holiday in India.
Daisy specifically mentioned Republic Day as a possible alternative window because of the film's subject. “If it doesn't happen this year, the next window is January—Republic Day,” she said.
