The team behind the upcoming comedy-drama series Adarsh Baal Vidyalaya came together in Mumbai to kick off promotions ahead of its release. Actors Archana Puran Singh, Kay Kay Menon, Deven Bhojani, Prasanna Bisht, writer-creator Biswapati Sarkar, and other members of the cast and crew interacted with the media during a promotional event held at JW Marriott Juhu, offering a glimpse into the quirky world of the much-awaited series.
Set to premiere on July 24, 2026, Adarsh Baal Vidyalaya is a seven-episode comedy-drama that will stream exclusively on Amazon Prime Video, making it available to viewers across India and in more than 240 countries and territories.
At the heart of the series is Gyaneshwar Tripathi, played by Kay Kay Menon, a relaxed and unambitious principal running a dysfunctional Delhi government school. His laid-back approach to work takes an unexpected turn when he learns that successfully transforming the struggling institution could earn him a coveted government-sponsored training program at Cambridge.
Determined to seize the opportunity, Tripathi assembles an unlikely team of eccentric teachers in an attempt to revive the school. However, his journey is anything but straightforward as he faces constant hurdles, including Urmila Devi, portrayed by Archana Puran Singh, a bold and fiercely ambitious woman who frequently finds herself at odds with the principal.
While the show promises plenty of comedy through its quirky characters and chaotic situations, it also aims to shine a light on the everyday realities of India's education system. By blending humour with emotional storytelling and social commentary, Adarsh Baal Vidyalaya seeks to present a heartwarming tale of hope, teamwork and transformation.
Directed by Himank Gaur, the series has been created by Biswapati Sarkar and produced by Sameer Saxena and Biswapati Sarkar under the banner of Posham Pa Pictures. Alongside Kay Kay Menon, Archana Puran Singh and Deven Bhojani, the ensemble cast also includes Naveen Kasturia, Abhimanyu Singh, Ajitesh Gupta, Annapurna Soni, Prachee Shah, and Prasanna Bisht.
