Sharvari Wagh, who is all set to headline the first female-led YRF Spy Universe film Alpha, says there is no pressure working with Alia Bhatt, matter of fact, it’s an opportunity for her.
Sharvari Wagh, riding high on her recent successes with films like Munjya and Maharaj, is gearing up for her next big venture: headlining the first female-led YRF Spy Universe film, Alpha.
Despite the weight of expectations, Sharvari remains unfazed, expressing her excitement and gratitude for the opportunity to work alongside her favorite actor, Alia Bhatt. She said, “Ever since I wanted to be an actress, I manifested to be her, I dreamt about of these days every single night, I think there is no pressure, I think I am very happy to be where I am, I am very grateful to be where I am, so there is no pressure”
“And of-course Alia Bhatt is my favorite actor, and to be able to work with her, I think it’s an incredible opportunity, it’s like being in a master class of acting, and I got this opportunity, and I am going to use it to best of my ability, because I got this opportunity so early in my career that I must use it, I cannot let it go to waste” added Sharvari.
Backed by Aditya Chopra, the first female-led YRF Spy Universe film will be directed by Shiv Rawail.
Apart from Alpha, actor Sharvari has one more release in 2024, titled Vedaa, directed by Nikkhil Advani and produced by Zee Studios, Emmay Entertainment and JA Entertainment. The film also stars John Abraham, Tamannaah Bhatia and Abhishek Banerjee. Inspired by true events, it is scheduled to release on 15 August 2024.
