Sky TV has unveiled the official trailer for Reckless, a new action-comedy movie heading straight to streaming in the UK, and it’s bringing plenty of swagger along for the ride. Made in London and marking the feature directorial debut of filmmaker Elliott Montello, the film leans into familiar crime-movie territory with a playful edge. Think fast talk, faster chases, and criminals who just can’t stay out of trouble—especially when old money is still on the table.

At the center of the mayhem is Scott Adkins, playing a former low-level criminal fresh out on parole who’s forced back into the chaos to reclaim his share of a long-forgotten bank heist. Of course, nothing goes smoothly. With police on his tail and former associates circling like sharks, his mission quickly turns into a frantic game of cat-and-mouse across London’s streets. Vinnie Jones adds extra grit to the mix, because no British crime flick feels complete without him glowering menacingly in the background.

The supporting cast looks like they’re having a blast, featuring Nicole Deon, Adam Deacon, Dean Gaffney, Jordan Long, Mark Strange, and more. There’s a clear sense that Reckless knows exactly what it is—slick, noisy, and unapologetically made-for-streaming. While it may not reinvent the action genre, the film leans on personality, quick banter, and street-level energy to keep things moving at a steady clip.

Behind the camera, Montello teams up with writers Matthew Robert Kelly and Stu Small, with Kelly also producing the project. Shot entirely on location in London and backed by stunt coordination from Jude Poyer, the film gives off that gritty urban vibe action fans tend to enjoy, even if the budget occasionally shows through the cracks. It’s scrappy, straightforward, and clearly designed for a Friday-night watch at home.

Reckless debuts on Sky Cinema starting February 7th, 2026, exclusively in the UK for now, with no confirmed US release date yet. Will it become an action classic? Probably not. But for fans of Scott Adkins, British crime comedies, and fast-paced streaming thrillers, this one might be worth a watch—if only to see how many times one guy can almost get away with it.
