Raghav Juyal has finally addressed the buzz surrounding his role in Shah Rukh Khan and Suhana Khan's much-awaited action thriller King. While reports had been doing the rounds that the actor would play a young antagonist in the Siddharth Anand directorial, Raghav has now dismissed the speculation, insisting that the reality is very different from what has been reported.

During a recent conversation with Movie Talkies, Raghav was asked about the reports claiming that he would be seen as one of the major villains in King. The actor laughed off the speculation and said, “Yeh bilkul, sarasar jhoot bol rahe hai. Kyunki, aisa kuch nahi hai. It's a very different thing. It's a very different story and a very unique plot.” He further added that audiences will only understand the truth about his character once they watch the film.

The rumours around Raghav's character had gained considerable attention, with reports suggesting that he could portray the son of Jackie Shroff's character and potentially go up against a younger version of Shah Rukh Khan's character. Given the scale of King and its action-heavy premise, the possibility of Raghav stepping into a dark antagonist role had naturally sparked curiosity among fans.

However, the actor's latest comments suggest that his role could be quite different from the theories circulating online. Rather than confirming the villain speculation, Raghav chose to tease the film's unusual storytelling, hinting that the makers are keeping several aspects of the project tightly under wraps.

Talking about the film's making, Raghav further praised director Siddharth Anand and revealed that the visual approach is unlike anything he has previously experienced. “It's a very unique film. The way they are taking the shots. Siddharth sir jo karrahe hai isme, it's a very different thing,” he said, adding that even his look in the movie will be completely different from his previous appearances.

That revelation adds another layer of intrigue to King, particularly because Raghav has already built a reputation for transforming his appearance and performance from project to project. If his own description is anything to go by, audiences may be in for a version of the actor that they have not seen before.

King is being directed by Siddharth Anand, marking his reunion with Shah Rukh Khan after their blockbuster collaboration Pathaan. The film brings together an enormous ensemble that includes Suhana Khan, Abhishek Bachchan, Deepika Padukone, Rani Mukerji, Anil Kapoor, Jackie Shroff and Arshad Warsi, alongside Raghav Juyal and other performers.

The project has also generated significant excitement because it marks a major big-screen moment for Suhana Khan alongside her father Shah Rukh Khan. With an action-driven storyline, a sprawling cast and Siddharth Anand at the helm, King is already among the most closely watched Hindi films on the horizon.

For now, Raghav's comments have only made the mystery surrounding his character more interesting. By calling the villain reports “completely false” while simultaneously describing King as a “very unique story”, the actor has managed to shut down one rumour while creating even more curiosity about what audiences can actually expect when the film arrives.

King is scheduled to hit theatres on December 24, 2026, setting the stage for a major Christmas release led by Shah Rukh Khan. Until then, Raghav's mysterious comments are likely to keep fans guessing about where exactly he fits into Siddharth Anand's ambitious action spectacle.
