Fans of high-energy dance and quirky comedy are in for a treat! Prabhudheva shared the first look poster for “Macarena”, the third single from the upcoming Tamil comedy Moonwalk. The video song is slated to release on March 13, 2026, at 4:20 PM, promising a vibrant dose of music, dance, and laughter.
The poster itself captures Prabhudheva in a striking red jacket, mid-dance, alongside co-star Nishma Chengappa, set against a colorful temple backdrop. The visuals highlight the film’s signature blend of cultural flair and high-octane choreography, orchestrated by choreographers Piyush-Shazia.
Adding to the excitement, the song’s music is composed and sung by A.R. Rahman, marking a special highlight as Rahman also makes an acting debut in the film, playing an irate film director. Lyrics for the track are penned by Arivu, ensuring the song is as catchy and fun as the dance moves.
Moonwalk, directed by debutant Manoj Nirmala Sreedharan, features an ensemble cast including Yogi Babu, Aju Varghese, Arjun Ashokan, Mottai Rajendran, and Lollu Sabha Swaminathan. The film promises a hilarious blend of friendship, musical antics, and comic situations, with a full-length theatrical release planned for May 2026.
Produced by Manoj Nirmala Sreedharan, Divya Manoj, and Praveen Elak, and supported by music label Lahari Music and studios like Macguffin and Sync Cinema, Moonwalk is shaping up to be one of 2026’s most energetic Tamil comedies.
With “Macarena” dropping soon, fans can look forward to an irresistible mix of AR Rahman’s music, Prabhudheva’s signature dance moves, and plenty of laughs to kick off the countdown to the film’s May release.
