Angel Studios has dropped the official trailer for Solo Mio, a sun-splashed comedy that sends Kevin James on the most chaotic honeymoon imaginable — one he ends up taking alone. The trailer teases a breezy mix of heartbreak, humor, pasta, and unexpected romance, all against the stunning backdrop of Italy.
The story follows Matt (played by James), whose picture-perfect Roman wedding implodes when his fiancée leaves him at the altar. Instead of retreating in embarrassment, Matt grabs his luggage, swallows his pride, and decides to take the honeymoon anyway. What begins as a pity-trip across Italy quickly turns into a journey of food, self-discovery, and delightful chaos.
Along the way, Matt meets a café-running local beauty, played by Nicole Grimaudo, who seems poised to rewrite his understanding of love and purpose. The cast also includes Jonathan Roumie, Kim Coates, Alyson Hannigan, and Julee Cerda — a lineup promising plenty of heartfelt laughs and feel-good charm.
Solo Mio is brought to life by directors Charles Kinnane and Daniel Kinnane — better known as The Kinnane Brothers — with a screenplay penned by James Kinnane, Patrick Kinnane, and John Kinnane.
