The cast and crew of Ikkis came together for a moving ceremony dedicated to Second Lieutenant Arun Khetarpal, PVC, celebrating the valour of the 21-year-old war legend and India’s many ‘janbaaz’ heroes. Actors Agastya Nanda, Jaideep Ahlawat, and Simar Bhatia joined producer Dinesh Vijan and National Award-winning director Sriram Raghavan, standing alongside military officers and the families of the soldiers being honoured. The event wasn’t just promotional—it felt like a moment of national pride wrapped in cinematic respect.

At the heart of the ceremony was the real-life story that Ikkis brings to screen: the extraordinary bravery of Arun Khetarpal during the 1971 Indo-Pak War, where he fought fearlessly until his last breath and was posthumously awarded the Param Vir Chakra. Agastya Nanda, who plays Khetarpal in the film, was visibly humbled, attending the tribute not as an actor but as someone carrying forward the legacy of a true Indian hero.

Producer Dinesh Vijan and director Sriram Raghavan emphasized the importance of preserving stories like Khetarpal’s through cinema, while Jaideep Ahlawat and Simar Bhatia added to the film’s presence at the event, meeting officers and families who have lived these stories beyond the screen. With real heroes and reel heroes sharing the stage, the ceremony became an emotional bridge between history and storytelling.

As the countdown begins for its worldwide release on December 25, 2025, Ikkis continues to build anticipation—not just as a war biopic, but as a heartfelt salute to courage, sacrifice, and the unbreakable spirit of the Indian Armed Forces.
