For Anil Kapoor, Subedaar isn’t just another release — it’s personal. Speaking at the trailer launch of the film in Mumbai, the veteran star poured his heart out about what the project truly means to him, calling it one of the most demanding experiences of his career.
“This film is a very special film for me. And this role for me is one of the most challenging roles of my career. And I've done it as usual with all my heart and soul. I've worked hard on my part and I've worked with all my heart. As I always do. I hope you'll like this film and you'll like our work,” Kapoor said, his words reflecting both pride and vulnerability.
In Subedaar, Kapoor steps into the shoes of Arjun Maurya — a disciplined, battle-scarred man attempting to rebuild his life while confronting deep emotional wounds. The trailer hints at a layered character torn between duty, grief, and redemption, giving Kapoor ample space to explore both high-octane action and quiet, internal conflict.
Directed by Suresh Triveni, the film features a strong ensemble including Radhikka Madan, Aditya Rawal, Saurabh Shukla, Mona Singh, Faisal Malik, and Khushboo Sundar. Slated to premiere on Amazon Prime Video, the film promises a gripping blend of action and emotion.
If Kapoor’s heartfelt words are anything to go by, Subedaar represents more than just a character — it represents commitment, craft, and a career still hungry for challenges. And for an actor who has done it all, calling a film “very special” might just be the highest praise of all.
