Pitch To Get Rich, India’s first-of-its-kind fashion entrepreneurial reality series, unveiled its trailer with glitz, energy, and a powerful message: fashion is no longer just about runways—it's about business, investment, and scaling bold ideas.
Premiering October 20 on JioCinema under the JioHotstar Specials banner, the show features 14 fashion founders pitching their brand vision to a panel of investors, competing for a share of an impressive ₹40 crore investment pool. Co-produced by Fashion Entrepreneur Fund (FEF) and Dharmatic Entertainment, this unique series aims to transform India's fashion talent into tomorrow’s industry leaders—blending style with strategy, and design with dollars.
At the trailer launch, filmmaker and producer Karan Johar, who plays a key role in shaping the show’s vision, emphasized the groundbreaking nature of the series. "Pitch To Get Rich is India's first fashion entrepreneurial reality show—it has never happened before. It's truly the first of its kind," Karan declared.
"It’s really about putting fashion out there on the map. Whether it’s people with fashion startups, small fashion beginnings, or online fashion brands—this empowers them to take their vision further."
More than just a glammed-up competition, Pitch To Get Rich is designed to be a platform where ambition meets opportunity. Karan underscored the serious backing behind the show:
“We have ₹30–40 crores on the table. This entire show is a blend of drama, entertainment, superstar presence—but also, truly about the fashion entrepreneurial fund. FEF has taken this over with intent—not just to take fashion forward, but to make it entertaining through the lens of reality television.”
The presence of industry icons like Akshay Kumar, Manish Malhotra, and Karan Johar himself ensures that the show is not only star-studded but deeply rooted in industry credibility. But more importantly, it aims to democratize fashion entrepreneurship by giving up-and-coming founders visibility, mentorship, and capital.
From seed-stage streetwear brands to sustainable luxury ventures, Pitch To Get Rich represents a shift in how India sees fashion—not as a niche, but as a booming business with national and global impact.
As the series gears up for its debut, all eyes are on the pitches, the personalities, and the potential fashion moguls in the making.
