Pulkit Samrat is stepping into one of his most physically and emotionally demanding roles yet with Glory, and the actor says the decision to join the project was a no-brainer. Speaking at the trailer launch event in Mumbai alongside the ensemble cast and creative team, Pulkit opened up about what drew him to the gritty boxing drama.
Recounting his first interaction with the project, he shared his immediate reaction after hearing the script: “Well, when I first heard the story and learned about the project—first of all, thank you, Karan, for having that conversation with me. I asked Karan—or rather, I simply told him—that I wanted to do good work. Following that, Karan narrated the story of Glory to me, and I immediately began my preparations. Because the moment I found myself hesitating—wondering whether I should do this or not—an inner voice screamed at me: "Have you lost your mind?!" I realized instantly that I had to do this. You’d have to be completely nuts to turn this down. Seriously, it has everything. It’s got drama, thrills, action—everything is right there. Plus, it features Karan Anshuman and Netflix, so it’s an absolute winner!”
Created by Karan Anshuman, Glory is a sports-crime thriller set in the boxing world of Haryana, revolving around the mysterious death of a champion boxer. The series follows two brothers who return home to investigate the case, only to find themselves entangled in family conflict with their strict coach father and a web of buried secrets.
The show carries the tagline “Brotherhood. Revenge. Sacrifice,” and when asked about what he personally had to sacrifice for the role, Pulkit gave a heartfelt response about the personal cost of his preparation: “Honestly, my family has made a far greater sacrifice than I have, because I wasn't able to spend any time with them throughout this entire preparation phase. And the time that I couldn't spend with my family is exactly what I intend to give back to them—when they watch the show and enjoy seeing it unfold on screen.”
The series also stars Divyenndu, Suvinder Vicky, Jannat Zubair Rahmani, and Ashutosh Rana, forming a powerful ensemble cast. With its mix of emotional depth, sports drama, and crime-driven tension, Glory is already emerging as one of the most anticipated OTT releases of 2026.
Set to stream from May 1, 2026, the series promises high-stakes storytelling rooted in ambition, sacrifice, and the brutal world of competitive boxing.
