JioHotstar has unveiled the teaser for its upcoming horror-comedy adventure series Ali Baba Aur 40 Bhoot, and this time the familiar tale of Ali Baba and the Forty Thieves gets a spooky supernatural makeover. The streamer introduced the series with the cheeky line, “Chor expected the. Bhoot? Bilkul out of syllabus. Ab shuru hoga asli bhootiyapa,” promising audiences a completely unexpected dose of ghosts, mystery and madness.
The 44-second teaser begins on a seemingly peaceful note, with atmospheric shots of temples and their surroundings before quickly taking a darker turn. Eerie locations, mist-covered forests, mysterious ruins and frightening supernatural figures create an unsettling mood as the characters find themselves caught in a world where things are clearly not what they seem.
