Actress and cancer survivor Hina Khan delivered a powerful message of resilience and self-transformation at Illuminate 3.0: An Oncology Leadership Townhall, held from February 13–15, 2026, at the Jio World Convention Centre. Hosted by Sir H.N. Reliance Foundation Hospital and led by Dr. Sewanti Limaye, the three-day symposium highlighted breakthroughs in precision oncology, immunotherapy, and patient-centric care.
Speaking from her personal journey as a stage-3 breast cancer survivor, Khan encouraged attendees to embrace change and self-growth. “Help Yourself by Becoming Somebody. You have to shift. You may have to change roads. It's not a straight way… Bring changes in yourself. Bring changes in your life and accept it. Acceptance is going to take you forward. And if you have that, you will eventually win. And even if you don't… Live one day at a time,” she said, emphasizing the importance of living fully in each moment despite life’s challenges.
As she concluded, Khan reminded everyone: “Take one day at a time and live it, give your best, and live every moment — that's what I do.” Her words reflected both her personal philosophy and a universal call for courage and mindfulness in the face of life’s uncertainties.
During a fireside chat, Hina Khan shared her experiences with preventive testing and early diagnosis, stressing how mindfulness and proactive care helped her navigate cancer treatment. Her candid storytelling resonated deeply with medical professionals, patients, and fellow survivors in attendance.
The actress also took part in a celebratory ramp walk with other cancer survivors, honoring “Nari Shakti” and the strength of women overcoming adversity. The event blended advocacy, awareness, and empowerment, showcasing survivors as beacons of hope and resilience.
Hina Khan’s appearance at Illuminate 3.0 reaffirmed her role not just as an actress but as a motivational figure in the cancer community. Her message of acceptance, perseverance, and self-improvement continues to inspire patients and audiences alike, bridging personal experience with public advocacy.
