Siddhanth Kapoor, brother of Bollywood actress Shraddha Kapoor, appeared at the Anti-Narcotics Cell (ANC) unit in Ghatkopar, Mumbai, to record his statement in connection with the ongoing Rs 252 Crore MD Drugs case. He was escorted to the ANC office by Mumbai Police personnel, who ensured the questioning procedure proceeded smoothly.
Alongside Siddhanth, social media influencer Orhan Awatramani, popularly known as Orry, has also been issued a summons by the ANC Ghatkopar Unit to appear on Wednesday, November 26, to provide his statement regarding the same case. The investigation continues to probe multiple individuals allegedly involved in drug-related activities.
This is not Siddhanth Kapoor’s first run-in with the law. In 2022, he was arrested by Bengaluru Police for allegedly consuming drugs at a party but was later released on station bail after medical reports confirmed his consumption. Four other individuals detained at the same time were also released on station bail.
Separately, Orry had also been named in an FIR lodged on March 15, 2025, by Katra police for allegedly consuming alcohol at a hotel in Katra. The incident involved several individuals staying at the hotel who were found violating strict rules against alcohol and non-vegetarian food at the Mata Vaishnodevi pilgrimage site. The Jammu and Kashmir Police noted that strict instructions were passed by SSP Reasi Paramvir Singh to ensure no tolerance for such violations, emphasizing respect for religious sentiments.
A dedicated team under the supervision of SP Katra, DySP Katra, and SHO Katra was constituted to track the individuals involved in the violation. Authorities continue to enforce strict measures in cases where laws or rules of public and religious conduct are ignored, underscoring a zero-tolerance stance.
