Bollywood witnessed a rare box office face-off as Baby Do Die Do, starring Huma Qureshi, released in cinemas alongside Alia Bhatt’s action thriller Alpha. The unusual clash of two high-concept thrillers arriving on the same day has already made headlines as one of the most talked-about theatrical moments of the year.
At a special screening held in Mumbai on the eve of release, producer and actor Saqib Saleem addressed the media as anticipation built around the film’s theatrical arrival. Speaking candidly about the journey, he emphasized the emotional and creative effort behind the project, urging audiences to support the film in theatres.
Sharing his thoughts, Saqib Saleem said, “Picture is made with a lot of effort, made with a lot of heart, to get it released in cinema halls, we have put all our efforts into it, so go and watch it, support us.” His words reflected both the passion and pressure that come with launching a film under a new production banner.
The screening also sparked curiosity about Huma Qureshi’s absence from the event. When asked, Saqib kept it brief, adding, “There is a lot of work that needs to be done, she has gone somewhere,” leaving fans speculating while keeping the focus on the film’s release.
Baby Do Die Do marks the debut project of Saleem Siblings, the production venture led by Huma Qureshi and Saqib Saleem in association with Pune 04 Picture. The film presents Huma in a striking new avatar as a deaf and mute hitwoman navigating a gritty noir-inspired crime world.
Directed in a stylized action-thriller space, the film also features Sikandar Kher, Chunky Panday, and Seema Pahwa in key roles, adding depth to its ensemble cast. With its dark tone and unconventional protagonist, the film aims to stand apart in the growing landscape of experimental Hindi cinema.
As Baby Do Die Do finally arrives in theatres on July 3, 2026, the team is hoping audiences will respond to its unique storytelling and bold execution. Backed by strong conviction from its makers, the film now steps into the spotlight, carrying both creative ambition and emotional investment into its box office journey.
