Attended by Manoj Bajpayee, Priyamani, Jaideep Ahlawat, Nimrat Kaur, Sharib Hashmi, writers Sumit Arora and Suman Kumar, and the Amazon Prime Video team, the event turned into a mix of humor, nostalgia, and candid revelations.
Raj Nidimoru explained a key creative decision behind the show, saying, “One of the ideas we had while creating The Family Man was not to have a flashback. There’s no backstory of Srikant Tiwari. We made a conscious choice to let the audience discover him as the story unfolds — not by showing how or when he became who he is.” His remark, meant to emphasize the show’s real-time storytelling style, was met with chuckles and applause.
Krishna DK jumped in with a playful retort: “The way Manoj is ageing, I’m waiting for him to play a five-year-younger Srikant!” Raj added with a grin, “Manoj is on a strict biohacking anti-ageing regimen. He’s going to age backwards. Priyamani is already there. So maybe we’ll make a prequel someday. But Manoj won’t let us cast anyone else.” Their banter had the audience in splits, perfectly reflecting the camaraderie that defines the show’s team.
