A new cinematic mystery is on the horizon, and it comes wrapped in royal intrigue, psychological depth, and the haunting beauty of Rajasthan. Murderbaad, the debut Hindi feature from 25-year-old filmmaker Arnab Chatterjee, has dropped its much-anticipated trailer—and the buzz is real.
Set against the regal backdrop of Jaipur, Murderbaad begins with a simple question: Where is the guest? What unravels from there is a gripping tale of vanishing truths, layered motives, and buried identities. The story unfolds within the walls of a palatial Rajasthani estate, where a missing guest becomes the catalyst for a chilling investigation—one that promises to peel back the fragile facades people wear to hide who they truly are.
The film stars Sharib Hashmi, Amole Gupte, and Manish Chaudhari, bringing gravitas and depth to the mystery. They’re joined by emerging talents Nakul Roshan Sahdev (of Gully Boy fame) and Kanikka Kapur (from Dono), whose chemistry is teased through fleeting yet emotionally charged moments in the trailer.
Beyond the suspense, Murderbaad dives into the psyche of its characters. It’s not just about finding the missing guest; it’s about what each person is trying to hide—fears, desires, regrets, and the lengths they’ll go to protect their truth.
Produced under Chatterjee’s own banner, ACjee Entertainment, and backed by Reliance Entertainment, Murderbaad is scheduled for a theatrical release on July 18, 2025.
