The trailer launch of Tere Ishk Mein in Mumbai was charged with emotion, excitement, and the unmistakable magic of the Dhanush–Aanand L Rai collaboration. With the film set to release on 28 November 2025, fans were treated to a glimpse of an intense, musically rich love story—one that brings together powerhouse performers Dhanush and Kriti Sanon in a world of passion, pain, and poetic storytelling.
At the event, Kriti Sanon offered a deeper insight into her character, Mukti—a woman layered with vulnerability, rebellion, courage, and heartache. Opening up about the emotional shades she had to embody, Kriti praised lyricist Irshad Kamil for capturing Mukti’s emotional landscape in a beautifully written introductory poem. She then recited the poem on stage, leaving the room spellbound.
She said, “In this film there are shades of Mukti, where she starts and where she ends… to capture all those shades in just one poem, hats off to him.”
“Tumhe mohabbat hai mujhse, ye main jaanati hoon magar, ishk mujhe bhi ho tum se ye zaroori to nahin. Tum apni dahashat mein utha lo shahar sar pe, main bhi dard mein karahoon, ye zaroori to nahin. Laazmi hai ki tumhara khauf darae mujhko, par main dar hi jaaun, ye zaroori to nahin. Tum mandiron mein, shivaalon mein patak lo maatha, mukti mil hi jae, ye zaroori to nahin” Kriti narrated the poem.
The lines not only set the emotional tone of the film but also hint at the internal storm Mukti navigates—a love that is deep yet defiant, tender yet tormented.
Backed by a strong creative team, Tere Ishk Mein is produced by Aanand L Rai, Himanshu Sharma, Bhushan Kumar, and Krishan Kumar, with writing by Himanshu Sharma & Neeraj Yadav. Music maestro A.R. Rahman scores the soundtrack, while Tushar Kanti Ray serves as the DOP and Hemal Kothari as the editor—making the film a powerhouse collaboration on all fronts.
With its poetic depth, musical brilliance, and compelling performances, Tere Ishk Mein is gearing up to be one of the most emotionally resonant films of 2025.
