During the trailer launch of Do Deewane Sheher Mein, actor Siddhant Chaturvedi opened up about the challenges of coming from outside the film industry and how he stayed motivated during the uncertain early days of his career.
He said, “I think, I think my thinking was that I couldn't go any lower than where I came from. I could only go higher. So, the motivation was, ‘What could be worse than this? Whatever happens will be for the best.’ If I don't get films, I'll get ads. If I don't get ads, I'll get a TV show. I have to do something, but I have to be on stage. And if nothing else works out, I'll do theater. I'll perform on stage. So, what could be worse? What's the worst that could happen?”
“I think when God has given you two hands, two legs, everything functional, your health is good, and a roof over your head and food to eat, I think you have the whole world to conquer. I feel. So, there's no going down. So, whenever you feel low and whenever you feel like things aren't working out, it's like, ‘Things could have been much worse, but this is okay, so let's try to make the best of this’” added Siddhant.
Chaturvedi’s words reflect a philosophy of resilience and determination. He embraced every opportunity—films, ads, TV, or theater—as a stepping stone, maintaining focus on growth rather than setbacks. His mindset demonstrates that perspective, gratitude, and persistence are as crucial as talent in achieving success in Bollywood.
