On Friday night, Mumbai witnessed a somber gathering as family and close friends came together for a prayer meet in memory of Anil Mehta, the father of Malaika Arora and Amrita Arora. Among the attendees were notable figures such as Kareena Kapoor Khan, Karisma Kapoor, Shweta Nanda Bachchan and actor-producer Arbaaz Khan, highlighting the profound impact of Mehta’s passing on the film fraternity.
The visuals from the prayer meet showed Malaika and Amrita’s close circle, such as Seema Sajdeh, Ritesh Sidhwani, Dolly Sidhwani, Tusshar Kapoor, Manish Malhotra and any more were seen entering the residence of Malaika's mother in Mumbai. Our family is in deep shock by this loss, and we kindly request privacy from the media and well-wishers during this difficult time.” She further expressed gratitude for the support and understanding received.
