Reacting to questions about marriage rumours with Salman Khan, Ameesha said, “This question, from the audience to the media, I am asked often. The media and the audience act like matchmaking cupids. I get so many different opinions like, ‘Ma’am, you know, you will look best with Salman,’ ‘Ma’am, you need to be with Salman,’ ‘Ma’am, you both are eligible bachelors, you both are good-looking, if you get married you will have good-looking children.’ But Salman Khan is a really good friend of mine. No such things are going on. I am happy being single.”
When asked about sharing birthday wishes for Salman Khan, whose birthday is approaching, Ameesha responded warmly and respectfully. She said, “Salman Khan is everyone’s favourite. I wish him good luck, may he rule for the longest time. And when he has his little parties at the farmhouse, I am always a part of it. I don’t think this time around, with Dharma Ji’s passing, he will celebrate.”
