Filmmaker Pa. Ranjith has given audiences a first glimpse into the world of his much-awaited pan-India film ‘Vettuvam’, unveiling an introduction video that offers a peek into the scale and ambition of the project. Sharing the video on social media, Ranjith expressed gratitude to the large creative team that helped transform his vision into reality. Titled ‘World of Vettuvam’, the video introduces what appears to be an expansive cinematic universe built around power, survival and the struggle for control.
The filmmaker described the project as a vision brought to life by many hands, thanking the cast and crew who worked behind the scenes. ‘Vettuvam’ is said to explore power struggles, control over land and human competition, with its narrative moving across three distinct timelines — ancient, present and future. This unusual structure gives the film room to connect ideas of society, survival and changing human relationships while creating a larger world for the characters to inhabit.
