With just days to go before its theatrical release, filmmaker Pa Ranjith has dropped the official trailer for Thandakaaranyam, a politically charged thriller set in the dense, truth-laden shadows of India's forests. In his post, Ranjith teased, "The lives in the forest of #Thandakaaranyam will open our eyes to many buried truths..." Written and directed by Athiyan Aathirai, Thandakaaranyam stars V R Dinesh and Kalaiyarasan in lead roles, backed by a solid ensemble including Riythvika, Vinsu Sam, Shabeer Kallarakkal, Bala Saravanan, and Aruldoss.
