The team behind Ikkis has unveiled its electrifying anthem, “Ban Ke Dikha Ikkis,” and it’s already stirring patriotic passion across the country. Presented by Dinesh Vijan and Maddock Films, the song is a fiery tribute to Second Lieutenant Arun Khetarpal, PVC—one of India’s youngest and most revered war heroes. Scheduled for a grand worldwide theatrical release on 25 December 2025, Ikkis is shaping up to be a powerful Christmas offering rooted in valor, sacrifice, and cinematic excellence.
The anthem features Agastya Nanda, Simar Bhatia, Dharmendra, and Jaideep Ahlawat in striking visuals that bring the spirit of courage to life. Composed by White Noise Collectives, penned by Amitabh Bhattacharya, and voiced with fierce emotion by Jasmine Sandlas, “Ban Ke Dikha Ikkis” pulses with energy. The music video intercuts intense battlefield imagery with moments of determination, perfectly capturing the indomitable spirit of Arun Khetarpal.
At the heart of Ikkis lies the extraordinary true story of Second Lieutenant Arun Khetarpal, who earned the Param Vir Chakra posthumously at just 21 years old. During the 1971 Indo-Pak War, Khetarpal single-handedly destroyed four enemy tanks in the Battle of Basantar before succumbing to his injuries. His bravery not only shifted the outcome of the battle but also cemented his legacy as a symbol of selfless service and unshakable resolve.
Directed by National Award-winning filmmaker Sriram Raghavan, celebrated for his mastery of tension and emotion, Ikkis brings together an exceptional cast. Agastya Nanda steps into the role of the young hero, while Bollywood legend Dharmendra portrays Khetarpal’s grieving yet proud father. Jaideep Ahlawat adds dramatic heft to the film’s emotional landscape, making the narrative both intimate and impactful.
With its dynamic soundtrack—including the already-loved Arijit Singh track “Sitaare”—Ikkis promises to be a stirring war drama that goes beyond conventional patriotic storytelling. As the film’s promotions gain momentum, the release of “Ban Ke Dikha Ikkis” has set the perfect tone—bold, emotional, and filled with national pride—positioning Ikkis as one of the most anticipated releases of Christmas 2025.
