Jio Studios has unveiled a tense new video for Ghamasaan, offering a glimpse into a gritty world where the line between law, power and fear appears increasingly blurred. The upcoming crime drama brings together Pratik Gandhi and Arshad Warsi in a high-stakes battle set against the rough and politically charged backdrop of the Hindi heartland. The series is set to premiere on September 11 exclusively on ZEE5.
Sharing the video on social media, Jio Studios raised a provocative question that immediately sets the tone for the story: “Khauf ka kanoon ya kanoon ka khauf?” The line translates to a conflict between the rule of fear and the fear of the law, hinting at the central battle that unfolds between those who wield power through violence and those attempting to restore order.
The story follows IPS officer Aditya, played by Pratik Gandhi, as he takes on the formidable dacoit Maharaj, portrayed by Arshad Warsi. What begins as a law enforcement pursuit appears to become far more complicated as corruption, elections, armed conflict and local power struggles enter the picture. The trailer suggests a world where doing the right thing is not always as simple as following the rulebook.
Pratik Gandhi takes on the role of a determined police officer caught in an increasingly dangerous situation, while Arshad Warsi steps into the shoes of a menacing dacoit.
