Apple TV+ has released the official trailer for its upcoming psychological thriller series Cape Fear, a modern reimagining of the classic revenge story that has haunted audiences for decades. At the center of the story is a terrifying return from the past. A happily married couple, attorneys Anna and Tom Bowden, played by Amy Adams and Patrick Wilson, find their peaceful lives shattered when Max Cady — a violent criminal they helped convict years ago — is released from prison. What begins as relief quickly turns into dread when Cady resurfaces with one goal: vengeance.
The role of Max Cady is played by Javier Bardem, whose portrayal is expected to bring a chilling intensity to the infamous character.
