Actor and filmmaker Zeishan Quadri, best known for his role in Gangs of Wasseypur, made headlines for all the wrong reasons — or maybe the right ones, depending on how much drama you like with your interviews. During a recent interaction with the press, Zeishan had a full-on confrontation with a reporter who questioned him about allegedly speaking ill of his teammates and fellow contestants on his current reality show.
Clearly fired up, Zeishan didn’t hold back. “Tell me, when and where did I do that? No, I want to know when I ill-spoke about anyone. This is something I have never done in my life. Now this is what’s wrong — you should’ve done your homework,” he fired back, visibly irked.
When the reporter pressed further, citing social media chatter that suggests Zeishan has been backbiting members of his group, he remained defiant. “Let’s talk about the episodes and the show, not social media. If you're talking about my group, when and where did I backbite about anyone?”
Then came the Kunika Kapoor segment — and let’s just say, things got very real.
“Do not even get me started on Kunika Kapoor,” Zeishan snapped. “She put a black mark on my face to begin with. She congratulated Bashir, and if you remember, I confronted her. She is the people-pleaser, not me.”
He further addressed her claims about his health: “I was sick for six days, not 12, like she said. Later she said she’d consider me sick for 8-10 days. She can believe whatever she wants — that doesn’t change the facts.”
But the real mic-drop moment came when Zeishan responded to a reported comment from Kunika, allegedly about his claim to fame Gangs of Wasseypur.
“She never said that in front of me, otherwise I would’ve taken out her acting from Gumrah.”
While it's still unclear where exactly the truth lies — in the episodes, in the social media whirlwind, or somewhere in between — one thing’s for sure: Zeishan Quadri is not playing the quiet card. With fireworks like these, both on and off screen, the drama isn’t going anywhere anytime soon. Stay tuned — this saga is far from over.
