Singer and actor Rhiti Tiwari has been evicted from the Bigg Boss 20 house, but her journey on the controversial reality show continues to spark conversations. Known for her outspoken personality and emotionally charged reactions, Rhiti became a talking point among viewers because of her intense equation with fellow contestant Qazi. Following her eviction, the singer-actor opened up about the emotions behind her reactions, the misunderstandings that shaped their relationship and the difficult environment inside the house. In a candid conversation, Rhiti explained that what some viewers perceived as an extreme response was closely connected to her personality, her emotional investment in Qazi and the personal challenges she was confronting during her time on the show.

During the conversation, Rhiti was asked whether her animosity towards Qazi stemmed from the realisation that Qazi‘s behaviour might have been an act. The interviewer also raised a question that some viewers had been discussing: whether Rhiti's strong reaction could have been driven by insecurity or jealousy because Qazi was receiving the kind of attention Rhiti had hoped for herself. Responding to the question, Rhiti offered a deeply personal explanation, suggesting that her anger was not simply about competition or attention but about the intensity with which she experiences emotions.

“Well, you could call it ‘extreme,’ or you could just call it my personality. I’m the type of person who, when I find something funny, laughs very loudly—in fact, there are even memes of me laughing going around right now! If I’m sad, I cry deeply; if I feel love, I express it intensely. It’s just my nature. So, naturally, when I get angry, I get very angry. That has been an issue for me—one of the challenges I had to deal with while I was there. And the reason my anger was so intense is that I felt a very strong connection to her.”

Rhiti's response offered insight into the emotional connection that, according to her, made the situation with Qazi particularly difficult. Rather than describing their relationship as a simple clash between contestants, she explained that her feelings were rooted in a bond that she believed was significant. She also admitted that the intensity of her anger was something she had struggled with inside the house. Her words suggested that the emotional stakes were much higher for her than viewers might have understood while watching the confrontations unfold on screen.

Continuing her explanation, Rhiti revealed that her feelings towards Qazi had not necessarily disappeared after leaving the show. She also reflected on how misunderstandings, isolation and the pressure of living in an unfamiliar environment contributed to her reactions. “I still do, honestly—perhaps even more so now. Back then, while we were living together, our dynamic was quite different, and a series of misunderstandings just kept piling up in my mind. It was like... well, imagine someone just pricking you, but it feels as if they’ve punched you—because, on top of everything else, it was just the final straw. With so much already going on, this just pushed me over the edge; I completely lost my cool and just exploded. It was such a tense environment. I couldn’t even make sense of what I was going through—I was completely cut off from everything, with no family or friends around.”

She went on to explain how music became her emotional anchor during her time in the house. “But I did have music. Music has always been something that helps me maintain a sense of sanity in life. Everything felt chaotic—I kept asking myself, ‘What is happening? What is going on?’ I was becoming incredibly confused; things felt so hectic. I couldn’t even turn to the things I usually relied on to feel better—like listening to my favourite songs or going for a drive—none of that was available to me there. I had to come to terms with the fact that my nervous system was deeply unhealed and easily triggered, leading to extreme reactions. It was a fundamental issue—essentially, an unhealed person navigating their own traumas while trying to grow in life. That’s what was happening to me,” Rhiti added.

Her candid admission brings another dimension to her Bigg Boss 20 journey, highlighting the emotional pressures that can emerge when contestants are separated from their familiar support systems and placed under constant scrutiny. Rhiti's reflections also suggest that her disagreements with Kazi were shaped by several layers of emotion rather than one isolated incident. By acknowledging her struggles with anger, confusion and unresolved personal experiences, she has offered viewers a more personal perspective on the moments that became talking points during her time on the show. Now that she has exited the house, audiences will be watching to see how her relationships with fellow contestants evolve outside the Bigg Boss environment.
