Production house Maddock Films has officially dropped the latest track from Cocktail 2, and fans are already calling it the ultimate party anthem of the season. Titled Mashooqa, the energetic new song brings together sizzling chemistry, vibrant visuals, and the glamorous pairing of Shahid Kapoor and Kriti Sanon.
Sharing the track online, Maddock Films captioned the post, “The girl you can only have in your dreams! #Mashooqa Song out now! #Cocktail2 in cinemas on 19th June.”
The song perfectly captures the playful, flirtatious, and high-energy vibe associated with the Cocktail franchise. Featuring Shahid Kapoor and Kriti Sanon in stylish avatars, Mashooqa blends romance, fantasy, and dance-floor energy into one visually lavish music video. Fans online are especially loving the duo’s chemistry, with many calling them one of Bollywood’s freshest on-screen pairings.
Musically, the track packs a strong punch with vocals by Raghav Chaitanya, Ruaa Kayy, and Mahmood. The composition has been created by Pritam and Mahmood, while the lyrics come from celebrated songwriter Amitabh Bhattacharya along with Mahmood. Backed by Universal Music, the song delivers a slick modern sound with catchy hooks and party-ready beats.
Interestingly, Mashooqa reportedly became the chosen release after audiences voted for it during a special launch event in Mumbai.
