Shah Rukh Khan is bringing India's musical heavyweights together for a spectacular celebration, and fans already have a date to mark on their calendars! The Bollywood superstar has announced UNIFYD, a mega music festival scheduled for March 20, 2027, at Etihad Live in Abu Dhabi, UAE. Sharing a promotional video on social media, SRK described the event as a celebration featuring “India's biggest voices” for “one extraordinary day.” With Arijit Singh, Karan Aujla and Sonu Nigam among the headline performers, the festival promises a musical experience that brings together different generations, genres and fan communities under one roof.
The announcement video offers a glimpse of the scale and energy planned for UNIFYD. Shah Rukh appears in a music studio surrounded by instruments, before the visuals shift to high-energy stage performances, dazzling fireworks and massive crowds illuminated by concert lights. The names of the featured artists appear throughout the promo, building excitement before the UNIFYD logo and event details take centre stage. It is an ambitious introduction to a festival designed to celebrate India's diverse musical landscape, with more than 15 artists expected to be part of the lineup.
The headline combination alone is enough to get music lovers talking. Arijit Singh, known for his soulful voice and romantic hits, brings a catalogue that has become a staple of contemporary Indian music. Karan Aujla represents the global popularity of Punjabi music, with his energetic performances and chart-topping tracks attracting audiences across borders. Then there is Sonu Nigam, one of India's most celebrated vocalists, whose versatility spans romantic melodies, classical influences and high-energy stage performances. Bringing these three artists together creates an exciting mix of musical styles, appealing to fans who enjoy everything from heartfelt ballads to Punjabi beats and timeless Bollywood favourites.
UNIFYD is being produced by D'YAVOL Live, co-founded by Shah Rukh Khan, in collaboration with District. The festival's concept centres on bringing artists and audiences together for a shared live-music experience on a large scale. Fans can download the District app to receive notifications when tickets go live, while an Emirates NBD cardholder presale is scheduled to begin on October 19, 2026. With the event taking place in Abu Dhabi, UNIFYD also adds to the UAE's growing calendar of major entertainment experiences attracting Indian music fans from around the world.
For Shah Rukh, the announcement offers another glimpse of his expanding presence beyond the big screen. The actor has long commanded enormous attention through his films and live appearances, and his involvement in a festival featuring some of India's most popular singers brings that star power into the live-entertainment space. Meanwhile, the announcement arrives as fans also look forward to his upcoming film King, directed by Siddharth Anand and scheduled for a theatrical release on December 24, 2026. The action thriller is expected to feature SRK in a striking new avatar and marks the big-screen debut of his daughter, Suhana Khan.
With UNIFYD scheduled for March 2027, Shah Rukh Khan is setting the stage for a major musical gathering in Abu Dhabi. The combination of Arijit Singh's soulful melodies, Karan Aujla's Punjabi hits and Sonu Nigam's vocal brilliance gives the festival plenty of star power, while the promise of additional performers leaves room for more surprises. For fans who have dreamed of seeing India's leading musical voices share one stage, UNIFYD could be an event worth watching. The countdown has begun, and the next big question is which artists will join the already impressive lineup.
