Rajkummar Rao is all set to bring one of India’s most high-profile public prosecutors to life on the big screen with Prahaar: The Untold Story of Ujjwal Nikam. The much-awaited trailer has now been unveiled, offering a gripping glimpse into the world of courtroom battles, difficult choices and the pursuit of justice. Produced by Dinesh Vijan under the Maddock Films banner and directed by Avinash Arun, the film is scheduled to hit cinemas on October 16, 2026.
The trailer launch itself carried a strong sense of significance. Prahaar was unveiled at Mumbai’s iconic Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Terminus, a location closely associated with the 26/11 Mumbai terror attacks that form an important part of the story.
