Prabhas has given his fans an exciting birthday surprise as the makers of his upcoming film Fauzi unveiled its teaser to celebrate the superstar's 47th birthday. Introducing the actor in a powerful new avatar, the teaser presents him as a fearless rebel soldier ready to challenge the British Empire. The first glimpse has instantly raised anticipation for the historical action drama, which promises an intense narrative rooted in India's struggle against colonial rule. With its gritty atmosphere, intriguing historical references and Prabhas commanding the screen, Fauzi has emerged as one of the highly anticipated projects on the actor's upcoming film slate. The film is scheduled to arrive in theatres on March 19, 2027.
The teaser sets a dramatic tone right from the opening moments, transporting viewers to Berlin, where a tense historical conversation between Adolf Hitler and Netaji Subhas Chandra Bose unfolds against the backdrop of British oppression in India. This opening introduces the larger political and historical context surrounding the film before shifting attention to its central character. As the visuals progress, Prabhas appears as a lone rebel warrior whose determination and courage make him a formidable force against British rule. The glimpse hints at a story driven by resistance, sacrifice and the spirit of rebellion, while keeping several details about the plot under wraps.
Prabhas shared the teaser on his Instagram handle on Friday, giving fans a first look at his character in the much-awaited project. Known for taking on diverse roles across large-scale productions, the actor appears to be exploring another distinctive cinematic world with Fauzi. The teaser focuses on his intense screen presence and the fearless personality of the character, suggesting that the film will combine historical drama with action and emotional storytelling. Its carefully constructed atmosphere and references to significant historical figures have also sparked curiosity about how the narrative will connect its fictional protagonist with the wider events of the period.
The film is directed by Hanu Raghavapudi, who is known for bringing emotionally driven storytelling and visually rich settings to his work. His collaboration with Prabhas has generated considerable interest, particularly because Fauzi appears to offer a different setting and character from the actor's recent big-screen ventures. The project is being produced by Mythri Movie Makers and presented by T-Series Films. Naveen Yerneni, Y Ravi Shankar and Bhushan Kumar are producing the film, bringing together prominent names from the Indian film industry. The combination of Prabhas, Hanu Raghavapudi and the production houses has added to expectations surrounding the historical action drama.
The teaser's focus on a rebel soldier also gives the film an opportunity to explore themes of courage, resistance and the fight against oppression. Rather than revealing the entire storyline, the first glimpse introduces the central character and establishes the atmosphere in which his journey will unfold. The Berlin setting and the conversation involving Hitler and Netaji Subhas Chandra Bose provide a historical starting point, while Prabhas' appearance as a warrior hints at the conflict that lies ahead. Audiences will have to wait for further promotional material to discover more about the character's background, motivations and role in the larger story.
