Actor Dhanush marked the auspicious occasion of Saraswati Puja and Ayudha Puja with a heartfelt message for his fans and followers. Taking to social media on October 19, the Tamil star extended his festive greetings, wishing everyone success in their professional lives, excellence in education and happiness in their homes. His message captured the spirit of the celebrations, which hold special significance across Tamil Nadu and other parts of South India.
Sharing his wishes, Dhanush wrote, “May you achieve success in your profession, excel in your studies, and let happiness and prosperity flourish in everyone's lives—heartfelt wishes on this auspicious Saraswati Puja and Ayudha Puja!” The actor’s message focused on growth, knowledge and prosperity, making it a warm festive greeting for people celebrating the occasion. His post also reflected the significance of these traditions, which honour learning, skills and the tools people use in their daily lives.
Saraswati Puja is dedicated to Goddess Saraswati, who is associated with knowledge, wisdom, learning and the arts. Ayudha Puja, meanwhile, celebrates the tools, instruments and equipment that help people carry out their work. In many households and workplaces, people worship books, musical instruments, vehicles, machinery and professional tools, seeking blessings for success and progress. These observances are an important part of the festive period around Navratri and Vijayadashami, bringing together spiritual devotion and appreciation for one's work.
Dhanush’s festive post comes as he continues to remain active across Tamil and Hindi cinema. The actor has several projects generating interest among moviegoers, including OM (Chapter 1: Udhiram – The Blood Wood), an action film directed by Rajkumar Periasamy that also features Mammootty. The project has attracted attention for its reported gritty tone, with audiences awaiting further updates on its release and production schedule.
His upcoming lineup also includes D56, an action entertainer directed by Tamizharasan Pachamuthu and featuring Preity Mukundhan, Vadivelu and S. J. Suryah. Dhanush is also associated with the Hindi film Tere Ishk Mein, directed by Aanand L. Rai. Alongside these projects, the actor has other collaborations in development, reflecting his continued presence across different film industries.
While fans await news about his upcoming releases, Dhanush’s Saraswati Puja and Ayudha Puja greeting offered a moment to connect with followers beyond cinema. His wish for professional success, academic achievement and prosperity resonated with the central themes of the festivals. As celebrations continue, the actor’s message serves as a reminder of the importance of knowledge, dedication and the work that shapes everyday life.
