Megastar Chiranjeevi is back with a new avatar, and this time the mystery begins with a simple supervisor, a pair of scooter keys and a surprisingly dramatic discovery underwater. KVN Productions has officially unveiled the title, first look poster, teaser glimpse and release date of Kaaka, the much anticipated film directed by Bobby Kolli. The film is set to arrive worldwide on January 13 2027, making it a major Sankranthi release.

The makers introduced Chiranjeevi as K Satyam, a supervisor working at Ammaji Aqua Industries in Ravulapalem. At first glance, Satyam appears to be an ordinary middle aged man leading a fairly routine life. Dressed casually in a checked shirt, glasses and sandals, Chiranjeevi looks deliberately understated. He chats with his staff, discusses an upcoming load with the Chennai team over the phone and even refuses a leave request from Sunil, giving the character an instantly familiar and grounded personality.

The glimpse then introduces a small incident involving scooter keys that quickly turns into something much bigger. Satyams daughter hands over the keys, but they accidentally fall into the water. What follows is a quirky moment involving a dog and a remote controlled device that helps retrieve the keys with a magnet. But just when the situation seems to be heading towards a light hearted payoff, the water reveals something nobody expects. Along with the keys, guns emerge from beneath the surface.

That clever reveal becomes the turning point of the glimpse and leads directly into the title reveal of Kaaka. Bobby Kolli wastes little time before changing the atmosphere completely. The simple and relaxed world surrounding Satyam suddenly gives way to a more intense setting, with a younger looking Chiranjeevi appearing in a dramatically different avatar. The transformation immediately brings back the swagger, style and larger than life energy that audiences associate with the Megastar.

The biggest attraction of the Kaaka glimpse is clearly the contrast between Chiranjeevis two avatars. One version appears to be a simple supervisor who could easily blend into everyday life, while the other carries an unmistakable aura of danger and confidence. Bobby seems to be deliberately keeping the connection between these two sides under wraps, allowing the audience to speculate about who Satyam really is and what lies beneath his ordinary exterior.

Visually, the glimpse also promises a film that is not afraid to shift gears. Cinematographer Vijay Karthik Kannan gives the opening portions an immersive and character focused treatment before moving into sharper frames and more energetic action imagery. Music composer Thaman adds to the elevation with a score that builds the mood without overpowering the visuals. The inclusion of the remix of Gang Gang from Gang Leader adds another nostalgic touch for Chiranjeevi fans.

Chiranjeevi appears equally comfortable in both versions of the character. The glasses, casual clothing and relaxed body language bring out his natural charm, while the younger avatar gives him plenty of room to unleash his trademark style. Even within the short action portion, his expressions and body language suggest that the film has been designed to make the most of his screen presence.

The glimpse wisely refuses to reveal too much. Instead of explaining the mystery, it leaves viewers with several questions. Who exactly is K Satyam? Why are guns hidden underwater? How are the two Chiranjeevi avatars connected? And is the seemingly ordinary supervisor hiding a much bigger past? These unanswered questions could become one of the biggest talking points surrounding Kaaka as the film moves closer to its theatrical release.

Kaaka is directed by Bobby Kolli and produced by Venkat K Narayana under KVN Productions. The film features Chiranjeevi alongside Anaswara Rajan and Nivetha, with music by Thaman and cinematography by Vijay Karthik Kannan. With a Sankranthi release locked for January 13 2027, the film is positioning itself as one of the major Telugu releases of the festive season.

For now, Kaaka has managed to do exactly what a good glimpse should do. It introduces the hero, establishes an intriguing world, delivers a surprise and then pulls the curtain back just enough to make fans want more. If the mysterious K Satyam is only the beginning, Chiranjeevis next big screen outing could have plenty of surprises waiting beneath the surface.
