Beena Tripathi is ready to leave the streaming world behind and make her big screen entry. Excel Entertainment has unveiled a new character poster for Mirzapur The Movie, putting Rasika Dugal's fan favourite character front and centre. The film is scheduled to arrive in cinemas on September 4, 2026, in Hindi and Telugu.

The poster comes with the punchy line, “Beena Tripathi, ab bade parde par,” instantly reminding fans that the complicated and unpredictable Beena is now getting a much larger cinematic canvas. Dressed in a striking purple and red saree, Rasika Dugal's intense look suggests that Beena's quiet expressions may once again hide plenty of secrets.

Beena Tripathi has always been one of the most intriguing characters in the Mirzapur universe. Married into the powerful Tripathi family, she has navigated a world filled with violence, ambition, betrayal and dangerous power games. Over the course of the series, Beena evolved from someone trapped within the Tripathi household into a character who understood how to play the same ruthless game as everyone around her.

Rasika Dugal's portrayal has been an important part of that transformation. She brought a combination of vulnerability, intelligence and sharpness to Beena, making her one of the franchise's most unpredictable personalities. With Mirzapur The Movie now heading to theatres, fans will be eager to discover what the big screen has in store for her.

The film brings together a huge ensemble of actors from the Mirzapur world. Alongside Rasika Dugal are Ali Fazal, Pankaj Tripathi, Divyenndu, Jitendra Kumar, Ravi Kishan, Abhishek Banerjee, Shriya Pilgaonkar and Harshita Gaur. The cast also includes Sushant Singh, Mohit Malik, Sheeba Chaddha, Rajesh Tailang, Kulbhushan Kharbanda, Sonal Chauhan and several other familiar faces.

For fans of the original series, the theatrical adaptation represents a major leap for the franchise. Mirzapur became one of India's most popular crime dramas after its debut, building a passionate following with its combination of power struggles, family politics, violence and dark humour. Taking that world to cinemas gives the creators an opportunity to make the conflicts even bigger.

Gurmeet Singh directs Mirzapur The Movie, while Puneet Krishna is credited as the writer. The film is produced by Ritesh Sidhwani and Farhan Akhtar under Excel Entertainment, with the project also associated with Amazon MGM Studios. The decision to release the film in both Hindi and Telugu further expands the franchise's theatrical reach.

The character-focused promotion suggests that the makers are slowly introducing audiences to the familiar faces who will return for the cinematic chapter. After recently seeing members of the original squad together during the film's promotional activities, the spotlight on Beena is another reminder that the movie is bringing back many of the characters fans have spent years following.

And when it comes to Beena Tripathi, one thing is almost guaranteed: appearances can be deceptive. The poster may show her looking composed, but anyone familiar with the Mirzapur universe knows that Beena rarely enters a situation without having something else going on beneath the surface.

With Mirzapur The Movie arriving in cinemas on September 4, the wait is now getting shorter. Beena Tripathi is officially heading to the big screen, and if her history is anything to go by, she is unlikely to make the transition quietly. The Mirzapur game is getting bigger, and Beena looks ready to play.
