Music composer Amaal Mallik has shared an emotional note after unveiling the title track of Awarapan Two, describing it as the most special composition of his career. The composer revealed that creating music for a Vishesh Filmsproduction had been a dream since he was just 16 years old, and with Awarapan Two, that long-awaited aspiration has finally become a reality.
Taking to social media, Amaal reflected on the personal journey behind the song and revealed how producer Mukesh Bhatt gave the composition its identity. Sharing his excitement, he wrote, "The Soul Of Awarapan is what I always called it until Mukesh Bhatt sir gave it a name. He stated, 'Amaal, it's the journey you took within yourself that has helped you create this one.' Can't thank him enough for giving me my first Vishesh film, a dream of mine since age 16. Today is the day I get to live a 20-year-old dream thanks to Mukesh Ji and Vishesh Films."
The composer went on to describe the title track as the best song of his career, revealing that it has been penned by acclaimed lyricist Rashmi Virag. Thanking everyone who believed in him, Amaal expressed his gratitude to Mukesh Bhatt, Vishesh Bhatt, director Nitin R. Kakkar and actor Emraan Hashmi for their trust and guidance throughout the creative process.
While celebrating the new soundtrack, Amaal also acknowledged the legacy of the original Awarapan, paying tribute to composer Pritam, director Mohit Suri and singer Mustafa Zahid, whose music remains deeply loved by fans. He emphasized that his intention was never to replace or compete with the original but to honour its emotional spirit while creating something fresh for a new generation.
