Disney has revealed a second trailer for their next new Star Wars series titled The Acolyte, directed and show-run by Leslye Headland. 
 
An investigation into a crime spree pits a respected Jedi Master against a dangerous warrior from his past. The Acolyte is set at the end of the High Republic era in a world of "shadowy secrets and emerging dark side powers", approximately 100 years before Star Wars: Episode I – The Phantom Menace (1999).
 
 A former Padawan reunites with her Jedi Master to investigate a series of crimes against Jedi, but the forces they confront are more sinister than they ever anticipated. 
 
The series stars Amandla Stenberg, Lee Jung Jae, Manny Jacinto, Dafne Keen, Jodie Turner-Smith, Rebecca Henderson, Charlie Barnett, Dean Charles Chapman, Margarita Levieva, Carrie Anne Moss, Joonas Suotamo and more. 
 
With writing by Leslye Headland, Jason Micallef, Kor Adana, Charmaine DeGrate, Jasmyne Flournoy, Jocelyn Bioh, Claire Kiechel, Jen Richards, Eileen Shim, and Cameron Squires. Featuring episodes directed by Leslye Headland, Alex Garcia Lopez, and Kogonada.
 
Disney will debut The Acolyte series streaming on Disney+ starting June 4th, 2024!
