Thugs of Hindostan is an upcoming Indian Hindi-language epic period action adventure film written and directed by Vijay Krishna Acharya. The film stars Amitabh Bachchan, Aamir Khan, Katrina Kaif, and Fatima Sana Shaikh.

The film is based on Philip Meadows Taylor's 1839 novel Confessions of a Thug,about a gang of Thugs who posed a serious challenge to the British Empire in India (then known as Hindustan or Hindostan) during the early 19th century. Thugs of Hindostan is set to be released during Diwali on 7 November 2018.
